Velvet Pictures have teamed up with long established production company Oxford Scientific Films to develop and produce a fantastic new drama/comedy (dramady) series, THE BEACH for TV.

OSF are well known for their award winning documentaries including the popular MEERKAT MANOR and their recent BAFTA nominated profile of the rising motor racing star, Billy Monger in DRIVEN:THE BILLY MONGER STORY for the BBC.

THE BEACH was created by award-winning TV writer, Caleb Ranson and is being developed by him alongside well-known comedian, Lucy Porter and Sian Harries, co-writer of ONE MAN DOWN and THE TOURIST TRAP.
