Producer Claire Cottrell and director Keith English took over Sway Cinema for a day this month to shoot an advertising promo for the up and coming New Forest Film Festival.
Velvet Pictures is sponsoring one of the awards in the festival – which is open to short films from around the world – along with helping to organise the ‘horror film event’ at Sway on the 9th of June. Along with showing movies, the event will include guest speakers such as the widow of Ken Russell, Lisi Tibble Russell, and actor Nicholas Ball who was one of the stars in the 1980s horror movie, ‘Lifeforce’ – which will be screened alongside Russell’s ‘Altered States’ that evening.
Also screening during the festival is Keith’s award-winning feature, ‘The More You Ignore Me‘, written by Jo Brand and produced by Debbie Gray.
The promo for the festival can be seen on the festival website – along with details of how to enter the festival and, soon, a full programme of events.
